It’s more than a little bullshitty that as long as the plane pushes back from the gate on time, it’s an on-time departure even if you then just sit and wait.

Starting to pay surcharges for wages and benefits all over the place. People need to be paid. But it should go into the price. This approach artificially lowers inflation estimates and makes the economy look stronger than it is.

When you need to be mad at your kid but you can’t help but be impressed by their tactics.
