For all of my 40 years playing guitar, I've never dabbled in drum machines, samplers, and synths. I recently bought a Roland Aria P-6, and it's quickly changed my practices for the better. #pedalboard #guitarsky #roland #chromaconsole
It sounds like a beast now and plays great. Once you start accumulating guitars, guitar tech work adds up pretty quick. I resolved that I needed to learn how to do more myself. So it is greatly satisfying to have accomplished it, I'll be fearless to do it for any work that I need to do in the future

I have a red LED goosenck light that i rigged on the side of my board, & reversing the dark knobs made all the difference. I love this pedal, it does so many things so seamlessly and it covers all the delay ground my black fountain stereo doesn't. The LED light on the Afterneath makes me see spots.

Lol, that must mean the pedal was working "optimally". I'm sure that there is a knack and a sweet spot. It's taken me a month to learn my way around the black fountain stereo, and that's way less complicated than a CB pedal
New day, new knobs for my ARP-87. I was having alot of trouble seeing the black stock knobs in the almost - dark...
Thermae was the only CB pedal I've ever tacitly thought about owning. My challenge with CB is i think they are more for synth players... And i like weird pedals and i can't find a use for them no matter how much i watch demos
It's been a season of change on the board. Over the past year, I've been refining my pedal choices. I realized that I'll never be a bluesbreaker dirt pedal guy, but ive found that I'm much more of a fuzz guy. The MAE Part Garden has changed how i view all the tone and effects down the signal chain.
I have size 15 shoes, no trouble with dancing around the board.
Fantastic pedal. I've bought two DBA pedals in the last month (Rooms and Disturbance) - DBA makes some wild, yet insanely musical devices.
Absolutely, i really don't think about it once my filter and Fuzz are happy... I keep an Afterneath in my drive section, but my tuner stays in true bypass and my MAE Part Garden Ge fuzz and DBA Disturbance before it and everything is happy.
That's accurate and anyone sporting a colorful all boss board is going to deal with some tone suck. It doesn't make them shitty, but i wouldn't necessarily want all that in my analog modulation or dirt if I'm using a filter or sensitive fuzz. But, another reason to look at other "boutique" options
Sometimes you want just want analog pedals that are true bypass....BOSS has some really great pedals (BD-1 / CEW-2 / DD-8), but you always need two BOSS pedals to blur the lines where you can find some really creative and fun pedals that do it all in one box.
