visa and mastercard deciding what games are allowed to be sold is an apocalyptic level threat to the games industry. phone calls are the highest impact way to help.

Yeah, I worked in customer support and, if it's a 'peak' of one day, they will not care. They'll wipe their hands and say "ok, volumes are back to normal, it's fixed"
If after a week they are still receiving pressure... Then they'll begin to get nervous

The saddest thing about this itch censorship is that it hurt the devs that made the most efforts to put warnings on their games, to keep kids away, to protect people who felt uncomfortable by certain subjects. The more warnings a game had, the more it seemed to be punished for it
as someone who answers phone calls for a living by the way my suggestion is don't just all do it at once, if you want to piss them off you need to not forget about it in 3 days. maybe set a reminder to call them in a week or something
