And to add to the WTF, thatβs actually a song about two people trying to cheat on each other, but accidentally hooking up instead π
Happy, waggy coyote finds a mouse along a PNW riverside! πΊππ #coyote #coyotes #trailcam
Not yet at least, as itβs year 3 of the PE firmβs supposed 4-5 year plan. I do know that their legacy customers have been churning in droves, their innovation, and product development slowed dramatically, most competent staff left & their competitors have taken full advantage of their many fumbles.
While EAβs PE acquisition is the latest in the saga, I got to experience PE shenanigans at my last org. The result from that endeavor alone was (at last count) 6 companies acquired and shuttered, 7 products sunset, and thousands of paying customers left to die on the vine along with all their work!
My perspective is that of a consumer/end user, and the users almost always get screwed in these situations.
PE firms are much more akin to flippers vs. builders, as their primary goal is to extract as much value for their investors before they sell and then move on to their next conquest.
Given the margin of error, statistically speaking, there must be a situation where a private equity acquisition has actually made a product or service better for its consumers. That said, I canβt recall a single instance where this has occurred in my lifetime, just a graveyard of failures.
Collie puppy is growing so quick. Heβs now 10 months :3
This actually looks pretty funny :3

Ransom a black and white border collie, standing on the edge of the river waiting for stick.
Ransom figuring out a weak point of his herding ball.
Ransom bordercollie and a pink boat.
Soaked collie waiting for more stick.
The big 40 (weeks).
Ransom did lots of water fetch, lots of beating up the herding ball, and lots of running around the property off leash. Also took a ride on his first non-inflatable boat.
Just what we need in 2025, fucking cazadorsβ¦.
I wish there was some automation or checkbox in the voting process where as soon as my ballot is received, the post office would immediately stop delivering any political ads/mailings to my addressβ¦
IMHO being too high to leave home is really the only viable reason for using DoorDash, Uber Eats, etc.
After deciding that his tail is too mighty a foe, Ransom the border collie puppy instead pounces the unsuspecting bunny
These coyotes have wandered quite far now, but the PNW will always be their real home
Superman was fun :3 James Gunn just knows how to make entertaining movies that donβt take themselves too seriously. If this how the rebooted DCU is gonna be moving forward, it looks infinitely better than the previous slop.

Welcome to the club unfortunately, as I also have EDS. If youβre not already doing so, Iβd highly recommend beginning resistance/strength training, especially to strengthen stabilizing muscles. Iβd also highly recommending identifying and reducing foods that might introduce unnecessary inflammation.

Fuggler? BIGG FUGG?!? I did not expect to see a toy at Costco tonight named after the word fugly :P

A few more photos of Ransomβs longest hike. 11 miles total, stopped at 2 dog-friendly pubs, the waterfront, a park, and explored some new forest paths.
Ransom, the 5 month old border collie puppy, on his longest hike so far. About 5 miles in and will be a roughly 10 mile hike round trip. Just experienced his first waves :3
Cuticle clipper too, especially if youβre in the desert

TIL that Robert E. Howardβs first Kull of Atlantis short story βThe Shadow Kingdomβ in 1929 not only basically started the modern sword & sorcery genre of fiction, but it also incidentally sparked the ridiculous Lizard People conspiracy theory that persists to today! π€£ ππ€¦
I didnβt cut all the way through, just grooves & places to put a few splitting wedges to create cracks & gaps. Iβve ruined many a chain in the past, so I avoid using them on duffy stuff until the blades dull. Our only long drillbit has a dedicated use, but a hot fire under & around will engulf it :3
I was quite surprised how quick he picked up both that scent and the βfindβ game in general. It was only like 5-10 minutes yβall were doing that before I tried it myself to verify π
I put a few grooves in it with a chainsaw and dug it out much further than this video shows so itβs exposed on all sides and remove the underside rock layer. I might put a splitting wedge or two in it before I light it up to increase the airflow.
I view it more as most coyotes historically existed in a product-selection desert and Acme was basically the only shop in town, so they cornered the Coyote market. Coyotes, donβt give into BS traditions, demand better quality products! Acme can fuck right off with its Amazon Basics-assed crap :P
