I wonder if some point I have qualified for this description… I wonder exactly what you have to do to be “an excommunicated strumpet” 😂…and I notice the putative father doesn’t get his character blackened… such enlightened times of equality!!
Well he wasn’t having a good day was he!!! Vicious….
I’m with you on this…
Postie delivered a marriage cert this morning that totally blew up my speculative tree based on info the client had given me… back to the drawing board #genealogy #familyhistory #whosthedaddy …
Congratulations
Absolutely this. You learn to live with your “new normal”.Eventually the colour will come back & you’ll be able to enjoy your memories without that gut wrenching pain.My dad died in ‘20, mum in ‘13.Now the pain is much less & smiles remembering them much brighter, be kind to yourself & take your time
Wait until it feels right for you. It’s still very very new at the moment. Don’t pressurise yourself. Wishing you strength
This is my weekend plan… apart from a Christmas Fair tomorrow afternoon with my daughter. I don’t think it’s going to throw up any surprises but never say never!

Indeed…. He was a bit of a wrong ‘un!!!!
I need to take a trip north!! How lovely
I found a client’s grandfather appearing twice on the 1921 …. both times with each of his wife’s and only 3 streets away from each other!!!!
📣 Thanks to the swift work of our Webmaster, the recordings of yesterday's #OnePlaceStudies conference are online and members can access them through the Members' Area of our website! 3 of them are only available until December 8th. Editing of the closed captions will be done over the next week.
@sharrow.bsky.social Hi Janet! I believe a while ago you asked me to create a feed of mother and baby homes content you could follow.
Here it is: bsky.app/profile/did:...
If someone tags a post with # MotherandBabyHomes, it will show up here. ⬇️
I can’t pronounce it but I definitely am it and so are some of my very best friends!
So easy… wallpaper and white chalk furniture paint. Now cooking a roast and about to shout at the TV cos the Strictly result is ridiculously wrong… absolutely nonsense dance-off!!!!
Def not the reports!! Up-cycling a chest and wardrobe.. both were pine this morning. Needs trimming once dry…..and researching but somewhere I went from Black Death to The Borgia’s … who knew they were Spanish originally not Italian!
It’s blowing a gale outside with trees almost bent double & I have to decide between more redecorating upstairs, a couple of client reports or curling up with some fascinating Black Death research which for some reason I find far too intriguing and slots in very nicely with my #Wattisfield #OPS
This is a little gem of a guide
Excellent books, informative and highly enjoyable
I’m in the middle of my #Wattisfield census transcriptions. I’m comforted by the fact many names are still flourishing today, even tho all the pubs and village shop have long gone
#OnePlaceWednesday
I think it’s such a fabulous project.
Thanks for adding me to the list of volunteers. I had a fascinating time researching …. Now to type it up
Aren’t these sketches wonderful. www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article.... #Findmypast
I had to research some Peterhead Farmans this week on Scotland’s People…it was joyous!!!!

Proud of my almost nephew laying the Scouts’ wreath at this morning’s Remembrance Service. Now to spend some quality 1921 Census time 😂 #Genealogy #1921Census #LestWeForget
