I've found that LLMs have had at least one major impact on my writing: I am now utterly allergic to the construction "It's not just [blank] -- it's [blank]" and similar forms.

Furry writer, some-the-times artist, and professional astronomer. He/him, ace/aro but also kinda gay, I guess. Maybe check out my short light-fantasy novel, "The Way to the Lonely Valley": https://www.fenrispublishing.com/product.php?id=873

Yep. My "if done right" is doing an awful lot of work. It would have to be somehow independent from those. Like a kiosk that accepts cash for online purchases, or... hell, I have no idea what I'm talking about, but I wanted to throw the idea into the aether.
I admit, I know nothing about applicable law and what it takes to process payments. It's probably very difficult, and requires a solid initial investment to get going. But the will is certainly there by now.
Imagine a cooperatively owned furry fandom payment processor. One can dream.
I wonder if furries, with all our tech wisdom, will eventually just develop a new payment processor that anyone can use for any legal activity. If done right, I bet there'd be a huge market for it.

It's weird to me how if I buy a TV, it'd be silly to claim I "made" that TV, but if I own a TV manufacturing company, suddenly everyone says "that guy makes TVs". The way we speak about those who own capital tends to completely erase the people who do the actual work to create said capital.

New skill learned and I decided to apply it to Salisbury, as well as to a story I wrote that previously appeared in OHMURR! I've made hard copies to sell at Furlandia when I eventually go in May!
My fingies hurt but it is very rewarding!

It's amazing what one can accomplish when doing something that brings real joy.

Continue to contact your representatives and demand this legislation be opposed. Tell your family and friends, explain how these bills are not what they appear, and ask them to join us in opposition!

What's that? This is a picture of Mark Zuckerberg wearing his pervert glasses? I'm to understand that's what these are called, because they're a device for creepy gross perverts who want to record women without their consent, like what Mark Zuckerberg may or may not be doing in this photograph?

Glad to hear it was confirmed as a hoax. I suspected (so didn't repost), just because of how comical that description was, but in this day and age it was also 100% believable.
Regardless, cheers, fellow Mint user, and here's to the shared joy and pain that comes with this freedom.
That might be the most United Kingdom photograph ever taken.
I haven't paid attention to Final Fantasy in forever, but I hope that sometimes they still have the old pointy hat glowy eyes in void black mages wandering around somewhere.

Instead of calling anything a "guilty pleasure", it's more accurate for me to say that when it comes to certain specific things, I have zero interest in any deeper analysis, any pretense of objectivity, or anyone else's opinions. I'm just happy to feel good about them.

Pomegranates. Delicious, but goddamn if one of them doesn't take half an hour to prep for eating.
Grapefruit is a close second. There's no easy way to eat grapefruit.
right now, trans magic means--to me at least--refusing to back down and accept a more miserable version of our lives to satisfy the blandest and shittiest morons around.
it's strange organizing a creative project while trans rights get attacked, but we must yell louder when they try to silence us.
This thread is now dedicated to organizing aid for trans refugees
