I don't care about the scrubs the Bills are signing, this is a hockey town rn, we have more exciting things to talk about.
I mean Seneca St is like driving on the surface of the moon in spots. It's at least as bad as Middle Main, but you're right that there are dozens of thoroughfares in need of attention.
I was just thinking about how I haven't used much salt yet this winter, but that will do it.

There is a man who passed who used to be prominent in Buffalo preservation circles & became infamous for his recent MAGA antics.
Half of the posts offered condolences to his family, while others expressed relief that he was gone.

Those 15 seasons were the bulk of my youth and I still don't understand, either.
The top teams in the league this season being Dallas, Carolina, and the Sabres just proves that this season is designed for this franchise to exercise their past demons.
I went to the planning meeting for the Tift and Hopkins street repaving projects, very much trying to fight that good fight for our hood 🫡
But this is also Buffalo where people whip ass on ATVs in the summertime without helmets, so I guess there's only so much you can do lol.
We're definitely at an inflection point where we can get ahead of the e-bike adoption wave with adequate infrastructure and education, or we make people pay to register and insure them like NJ did and say fuck it to actually investing in infrastructure.
I really hope we don't do the latter.

Some of it can't be helped, of course, kids aren't going to love structure & rules but they're incredibly important, but the warmth from some of the teachers is just zero.
We're glad we got him a spot for Pre-K at his "big kid" school.
Oh my, if I had found that out while my kid was in school I'd be raising holy hell with the administration.

A woman went into labor with twins when I was in the post office earlier.
Suddenly, a letter carrier appeared and helped her.
First, he helped her give birth to her baby girl, and then, he delivered the male.
Yeah, it's been pretty clear for a while that the lead teacher doesn't like our kid or doesn't like us, or both.
His previous day care wasn't perfect but I always got the sense that they cared about our kid. I don't get the same sense now and I think he knows it too.
It will be fun when we try every geoengineering solution in the book over the next century without actually stopping our current geoengineering project of pumping carbon into the atmosphere.
Kiddo is telling his teachers he threw up in the kitchen yesterday (which happened weeks ago) because he wants to stay home and his preschool teacher immediately accused us of violating their sick policy. So that's how my morning is going.
