Report: The MMA continues to advocate for funding that is critically needed in the face of budget challenges at the local level and continuing uncertainty from the federal government.
On behalf of cities & towns statewide, the MMA panel called for an increase of at least 3% for Unrestricted General Government Aid for FY26 & adequate increases for a range of education-related accounts to try to keep pace with inflationary cost increases.
