Good to hear!
Agreed. They seem to find sampling impossible to remember!
Hey #CoreMaths teachers. I have updated the "What the Graph" website with 7 new graphs (I have used them in #MathsToday over the past term!)

Hello. Looks like it’ll be useful.
I’ll take a proper look tomorrow!
Nice. Glad it was useful!
I'm giving this a go since everyone seems to be here now! I have taught Maths and Further for 8 years in a sixth form college. I'm looking to share ideas and resources with other Maths teachers.
I can get behind this. The amount of times I’ve been able to save people time by showing them some shortcut or another.
As far as I’m aware, stratified doesn’t necessarily imply randomly selected.
Quota sampling ignores the population distribution (sometimes because we simply can’t know what that is).
If it is proportional to the groups you’re sampling from then it is stratified.
I would not try to put you off.
Feels like something @timharford.bsky.social night appreciate!
Wedding planning perhaps?
I did my coursework on the rehearsal schedule for a school concert.
Getting a roast dinner ready all at the same time works.
No worries. Join in when you can!
That’s great. Yes, I think so. There should be some interactive elements but I’m sure you’d be fine.
I'm pleased to say that I'm running a #CoreMaths course preparing for 2025 exams with
@AQAMaths
It's on Dec 3rd and you can book a slot here:

This is useful thanks.
Can I be added please?
I’d guess at normal distribution :-)
Well, hello to Blue Sky.
How do I find the best maths people to follow?
I've not done this but it's a good idea.
Make sure you use questions that can get discrete and continous data so there will be more things you can do with it.
