At last night's Westminster Hall debate on type 1 diabetes testing for children, I spoke about the need for early testing to prevent emergency diagnoses, commending the work of Diabetes Scotland in their efforts to improve diabetes testing & screening in Scotland.

I greatly enjoyed visiting our local community churches this past Christmas, including Hope Community Church in Clydebank, and Dalmuir Barclay.

I attended yesterday's debate on banking hubs in rural & post-industrial communities where I spoke about Alexandria's new banking hub.
Ensuring vital access to cash and face to face banking services complimenting our Pride in Place town centre regeneration work.
📚I am delighted to submit a motion to Parliament recognising Clydemuir Primary School for achieving an outstanding inspection report.
✏️I could not agree more with the inspector's praise for the pupils being well-mannered and welcoming.

🧬The Labour Government's National Cancer Plan will address unacceptable delays in leukaemia diagnoses, with 1/4 patients facing avoidable delays in being diagnosed.
I asked the Minister how this will be implemented, with the historic introduction of genomic testing at birth.
