I remembered. The days before the internet. When there was FIDO and BBS.βοΈ
I also finally made covers for my ZX Spectrum tapes. They're not great, but they'll do.
Since the dongle is needed very rarely, I decided to leave it on perfboard.
I didn't quite understand the question. This a standard BIOS. Or are you referring to the ISL69138? The PWM chip on this board is dead. PWM chips require a firmware. If you install a new, the processor won't receive power, so you'll first need to configure it using an dongle and a special program.

Power board
Signs of repair. I fixed everything. The power board was almost completely covered in oxide, but now it's like new.
Today I was given a Raon UMPC from 2007. It shows signs of repair. I need to try to fix it. It's an interesting piece.πͺ
