No dinosaurs yet, but I had so much fun creating again.

I bought stuff that was missing from my partner’s linocut kit, it should be coming today. I’m gonna make myself a bunch of dinosaur prints.

Turned out it started working by itself, using the same methods I previously tested which at that time were not working.

But hey, I won’t complain, at least I have both of my cameras operational now.

Now that Adam’s gone to GDC, the cat is even more clingy—which I thought to be impossible. He’s perfect.

Maybe it’s my multi-year break from this game, but Overwatch is actually fun again.

The digital camera still doesn’t work, it’s most probably a firmware issue but I can’t fix it without a cable. So a 20-minute fix turns out taking much longer.

now I still need to figure out what happened to my digital camera, I feel like I’m finally waking up from the great slumber (aka seasonal depression) and now things can finally get done

And once again—just as every piece has begun to fit together and my world felt more peaceful—everything went to shit.

Somehow I still have my job, but many of my colleagues weren’t so lucky. I was really proud of what we were doing.

had to launch Far Cry 5 *for research* and here I am dreaming about leaving work and replaying it for another couple of days straight

Saw Iron Lung yesterday and I honestly think it’s a good game adaptation. I almost screamed of joy when Simon first used the camera, it was so similar of a vibe as when playing the game.

Not a perfect movie by far, but good enough to recommend.

New job is going great (I think), a much welcome change after these last few months.

And here’s the first sculpt, from 7 years ago. Back then I based it on the human bust from Zbrush. Never finished it.

I wanted to make the same character to have sort of a before and after.

Been working on a portfolio piece lately, my first sculpt of a person from scratch—second ever.

I had so much fun making the hair, though I yet have to add lashes. XGen is wonderful to work with, but makes Maya crash so often. 😭
