I saw a panel with @browatch.bsky.social at the NOLA poetry festival that led me here — still pondering these questions

How I Think You Become a Person You absorb a thing and then you do a thing, then you absorb that thing to do another thing, and then all these things become intertwined until heat and pressure congeal them into a sequence in your mind. The process repeats. The sequences accumulate, mingle, and interlock to form a history to be shared, and it is through such exchanges that you realize against all odds you’ve become a person.
