A very small pizza in a very large pizza box
Shrinkflation meets my pizza. I did ask for a small one. The box is way too big for it

Ha, the amount of Americans on the cockatiel group Iβm in can be determined by who says poo (British and Australian) or poop. And cockatiels poo a lot!
Someone left an empty diary from 1987 in the Marrickville Metro street library. And howβs this for dedication: on whencanireusethiscalendar.com it turns out you can reuse the 1987 calendar in 2026! They must have missed 2015 and waited 11 yrs for the next opportunity #calendar
Screenshot of a Facebook memory. I can vote in your EU referendum, UK people! I proclaimed this time ten years ago on Facebook.
Fat lot of good that did
Iβve just seen Matt Okine on my feed and he was mentioned on the pod so that might have been an eavesdrop
The born after 9/11 barometer is also relevant here.. theyβve failed that too
How old is it? Mine is from 2000 but I did have an account in the 90s
Ironically, Australia currently has three Winter Olympic gold medals and Canada has none. I remember the 90s, well before the pre-Bradbury days, when bronze medals in 1994 and 1998 made front-page news.
Woohoo, managed to watch two Aussie gold medals live! π₯π₯ #olympics
You can see I commented on it with a photo of the Abba ad π
I actually saw that today BEFORE watching Funky Squad (offline) so for me it was a strange coincidence!
Fuji the worldβs most developed film ad
Paulβs ice cream ad
Kodacolor gold ad
The Cadbury pavilion ad
Some more ads from World Expo 88 book
World expo 88 guidebook in front of a shopping centre street library
Todayβs street library find: the World Expo 88 souvenir guidebook! Canβt wait to read all the old ads (one of my favourite things about media in the 80s)
Weβre back! This time, itβs Funky Squad. Spoiler alert, weβve hit a significant number of downloads and are onto our sixth season. We ramble and go on extreme tangents, so thank you Matt for your editing prowess! FIDGEON!

I want to say a big thank you to each and every one of you for sharing your words, sharing your art, supporting my art, choosing my art for your business or your home, and bringing beauty and kindness into the world.
Here are some reflections on my design and artmaking in 2025.
Ha! I missed that post. Are you sure there arenβt more than one floating around π
It might actually take 60 minutes⦠if you read really fast. It has big font!
60 minutes the book with Jana Wendt, George Negus, Ian Leslie and Ray Martin on the cover. From 1983.
Todayβs find at Savers Hoxton Park: 60 Minutes The Book, from 1983 ($6). If you can get past the hair, some interesting early 80s references and an entertaining step back in time (a time when I was still in primary school).
Well there you go! Vindicated! I am not surprised π

The Nintendo Wii is still going strong in many households. It turns 20 this year! In recent weeks, we were at two different homes where it was played (one friend was even picking up accessories for it via Facebook Marketplace for his kids), and it was played at ours today, too.
Thanks! Handwashing it is!
Daryl somers faux shocked look on a red bubble mug
Is Daryl dishwasher safe? Serious question!
We had both ends represent that eveningβ¦
I saw Mr Methane at the uni bar in Bathurst in 1997 on the back of his fame from being on Martin/Molloy.
As you can imagine it was a fairly confined environment which added to the drama! His support act was Stevie Starr, the guy that swallows lightbulbs, goldfish and throws them back up.
Why your noughties digital photos could be lost forever: good snapshot (ha, ha) of the plethora of options available for storing β and not always backing up β your digital photos. www.bbc.com/future/artic...
Yes! I was gifted a slightly different design. So funny to see them out in the wild
