I normally don't break my schedule for newsletters because breaking news isn't my thing. But things are escalating quickly, so I made an exception. Please read and share these remarks from @governorwalz.mn.gov. www.altrightdelete.news/p/you-need-t...
The thing that feels like a giant red flag to me (I say this as someone who wants to be optimistic about all of this) is βwe are also introducing Noisy Creekβs event discovery platform, EverOut, as well as entertainment ticketing service Bold Type Tickets to Chicago.β That just has all the ick.

And WeTransfer has walked this back somwhat.
6.3. License to WeTransfer. In order to allow us to operate, provide you with, and improve the Service and our technologies (and to develop new ones), we must obtain from you certain rights related to Content that is covered by intellectual property rights. You hereby grant us a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable license to use your Content for the purposes of operating, developing, commercializing, and improving the Service or new technologies or services, including to improve performance of machine learning models that enhance our content moderation process, in accordance with the Privacy & Cookie Policy. License to Others. You hereby grant other users a license to access, view, and use your Content, as enabled by one or more features of the Service.
So in case you hadn't seen it, WeTransfer updated their Terms of Service to include a clause that gives them "a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable license to use your Content". Which, if you do what I do for a living, makes it completely unusable.

Hey there. Guess weβre back to making bad late night skeet and re-skeet choices like itβs 2010 again.
My entire vibe post Nov 5th is βnobody gives a fuckβ and itβs probably the only way I can articulate how broadly angry I am without punching a wall. Iβm here for YOLO Joe. Iβm here for YOLO all of us.
I pitched that to a news agency based on a tip off from Arun that it would be huge. They laughed and then the next day my editor called back and said βcan you get there in time if you start driving now.β
Honstly JV Vance is just doing it for me. Like I can't remember what his actual name is now. It's such a perfect midwestern high-school dig that sticks. Forever.
