I find, thanks to advice from a friend, that whether or not you use soft shadows is a style thing.
I started going for more rigid unblurred shading myself and just use opacity to work with it.

tldr; It's entirely up to you, just check as you go and see what feels right.

Is it weird that one of my favorite parts, besides the general cuteness, is the bushy white hair? It's just so endearingly puffy.

It's funny. When I really think about it, of all games and other sources of media I've experienced, I don't think I can remember heroes as well as I do villains and their fights.

Between quotes, mechanics and music, it really feels like immersing yourself in everything that is THEM.

I had a feeling. I mean, floofy lions with their manes flowing along with the sea is more or less your thing but yeah... the sort of... one lion you drew alot [barring the dude with an otter BF] never had a name till now. I'm so happy for him.

But the actual body discovery needs to have a strangely comical and completely unfitting "BONG!?" noise. Possibly with a freeze frame.

I keep thinking back to the 1983 Hercules movie with Lou Ferrigno. Utterly ridiculous movie with hilarious cohesion and basically being nothing but an excuse to watch Ferrigno flex on everyone till they die. But y'know what? It was fun, and as a gay man? A feast on the eyes.

I keep thinking back to Tamamo, literally the only female so far that they went nuts and made into a monster fox in her shadow form, and it's awesome.
Why do we keep falling into this boring ugly crap over and over after that... sigh.

... so they gave her a golden nose that looks like a beak instead of an actual beak...? Even if they want to follow the stupid rule of thumb with female anime furries of being just girls with fuzzy ears... didn't they think this is kinda dumb looking? Just a little? Maybe a ton?
