How do you sell a player who says ‘no thanks - I’ll honour my contract’. You state ‘they didn’t offer him a new deal sooner’ - do you know that as a fact? Or could they have offered him multiple deals which he has declined?

How do you know he wasn’t offered a new deal 2yrs ago? His was offered a 6 year deal in 2021 (when Ali signed his) but refused. Every worthwhile journalist says he’s been offered a new contracts with big increase in wages, but rejects them. How do FSG tie him down if he refuses to sign or be sold?

How do the club allow him to run his contract down? How do they have the chance to cash in on him? He refuses to sign a new contract or agree to any sale? TAA has 100% control of the situation. Cunha is a prime example of ‘player scores 1 good goal’ syndrome. He’s a 10 goal a season player & that’s been consistent across his career. He’s only scored more than that once. Marmoush is the same, so far he’s having 1 good season. Before this year, he’s scored 22 in 3 seasons in Germany 🤷‍♂️

I’m simply pointing out that we don’t have control at all & (1) we can’t get rid, that’s the whole point and (2) Mo and his agent play the media for whatever they want (as do the club) so always take these things with a pinch of salt !!

You seem to think LFC make all the decisions & hold all the cards? Mo signed a new deal a few years ago. LFC were reportedly offered big money by the Saudi league, Mo wanted to stay. Tell me how you make him sign a new contract? Mo alone will decide if he wants to stay. He won’t play for a PL club.

On 27 Sept 2024 this ‘Register of charge’ was submitted to Gov.UK by FSG - its 97 pages in total but I presume is Liverpool borrowing from NatWest who register a charge against the club 🤷‍♂️ Anybody confirm what it actually means ?
