Announcement for workshop: Encouraging future scientists, supporting undergraduates at Psychonomics. Fri Nov 22 from noon- 1:30pm in the Lyceum Complex (5th floor)
If you know undergraduate students attending Psychonomics, please encourage them to attend this workshop on Friday at noon. I will be one of the panel speakers, and we are discussing grad school applications and succeeding in grad school. #psynom24
We are also collecting a list of PIs recruiting new graduate students, which we will share with our undergraduate attendees.
We would also love to know if you are interested in attending the networking session.
The program will have an orientation to the conference for undergraduates, a panel with four professors who regularly mentor graduate students, and an opportunity for undergraduates to network with current graduate students and/or faculty.

I wish I had this guide when I was applying, thank you for this. As an international student, I wasn’t aware about the specific questions listed here. It’s important to think about evaluating students equally especially since some of us have access to being extremely prepared and some don’t.
