I’ve really grown into a cheek tuft enjoyer. It makes the design so much fun and creates a more recognisable silhouette, I think.

The demo discs were dope! We played them awfully lot. Even the 3D turnarounds kept us entertained for a good while.

I always wanted to play Klonoa back in the day, but alas, the game democracy was not on my side and all I had was the demo disc.

reading more comics is a good reason to learn a new language. I’ve been thinking of learning French for that very reason, but so far, I’ve Bee discouraged by the lack of time and willpower :D

Tom Poes is one of those comics that I knew existed, but I never found any of the books. My primary school self would definitely have loved it.
I remember seeing the character when I was visiting my great aunt in Sweden. I wonder if it was more popular there than in Finland?

For lineart I used one of procreate’s default ink brushes, nightjar. Colouring was done with a mix of watercolour brushes I don’t remember 🫠 For the texture lines, I used King Pencil from VVDS realistic pencil&dry media brush set.
