@mynameis-notmorgan
You may find original characters/D&D + maybe other TTRPG inspired/digital art experiments here Mostly, this is so I can share things I've made for other people :) This should be obvious, but *NO Reposting or AI!*

Learning to draw really just takes lots of time and practice. But when you say that a bunch of people are like "if that was true, then I could do it!" And then you're like "yes" and then they're like "see? that's why you're lying!!" and then they continue to not practice because they don't like to
some bits of wisdom from tunglr
Ideal conditions for starting your passion project will never come. You will never feel skilled enough to make it. There will never be a moment where you stop being scared to start. Do it anyway. Do it badly. Do it scared. Just make that thing thatβs clawing at the door of your soul; It wants out.

A digital drawing of a humanoid moth creature kneeling in a field, picking flowers. The drawing is coloured using only shades of yellow and brown. The creature has four(4) arms, the upper two(2) of which are placing a flower crown on its head, while one(1) of the lower arms is holding a small flower bouquet and the other is picking more flowers.
I found out ArtFight had a little spring challenge going on, so I decided to have some fun.

A colour palette of five(5) colours. They are all shades of yellow and brown. Below the palette, in green, is the name of the palette, which is "honey bee."
I used the Honey Bee colour palette for this!
(Sorry for the low quality image, I could not figure out how to fix it)

I don't think they exist anymore. I thought I still had at least one, but I couldn't find it :(
I remember making a couple of these YEARS ago! Those were fun
This is a simple comic on graph paper outlined in black pen. You can still see some of the pencil drawing underneath. Panel one(1): a person with their head tilted up and a hand gesturing away from them looking frustrated. The speech bubble says, "'I'm thinking of making a comic' I said" Panel two(2): The same person now looking straight ahead, arm no longer up, still looking frustrated. The speech bubble says, "Why did I say that?" Panel three(3): The person now with both hands up and looking down at them, once again still looking frustrated. The speech bubble says, "The times I've tried to make them I only found the experience miserable." Panel four(4) Their hands are back down, and the person is slumped forward. Their hair is in front of their face. The speech bubble says, "Drawing the same things over and over..." Panel five(5): The person is still slumped forward, but their head is tilted up enough to see their eyes. The speech bubble says, "..." Panel six(6): The person has their head up again and tilted slightly left. The speech bubble says, "And now here I am. Making a shitty comic about it."

Coloured pencil drawing of a big Buff-Tailed Bumblebee, sitting on vaguely sketched pink flowers
Ode to the Bumblebee - Coloured pencil sketch. I love these little guys (This seemed like the ideal ease back into drawing) #art #natureart #bumblebee
Panel 1: "I make art for a living." Drawing character art on a tablet Panel 2: "It feels... Questionable right now." Drawing interrupted by a news alert Panel 3: "So much horror and pain all around us... And it feels like it's getting worse every day." Cait staring at her tablet while news alerts ping loudly
Panel 1: "What the hell am I doing." Cait takes off her glasses and rubs her eyes, the news alerts are louder and more frightening Panel 2: "I'm drawing pretty pictures while the world is on fire. While families are torn apart. While war and genocide become daily news. While my country is held hostage by bigots who want me and the people I love to die." Cait holds her head in her hands, overwhelmed by pinging alerts
Panel 1: "But I can't think that way. ...not every day, at least..." Cait balls her fists, grimacing with tears on her face Panel 2: "I love what I do. And I work in entertainment - providing beauty and escapism for my audience." She puts her glasses back on and picks up her tablet pen, sniffling
Panel 1: "We need art in turbulent times. People need escape from the horrors. And if I can provide that - then I'm being helpful." Cait starts drawing, but the pinging alerts are on the rise again. Panel 2: "I'm being helpful. I'm being helpful... I'm being helpful... I'm helpful... Helpful..." She draws, trembling, as the alerts swell around her.
Feeling... rough. Lately.
A silhouette of a person wearing a witch hat. There is a bright green gem on the silhouette's face imitating an eye. There are sections of bright colours (light blue, yellow, purple, red, and pink) expanding out from a point behind the silhouette.
I just remembered I had this. I made this for an October art challenge (that I never finished...) a couple of years ago.

A digital painting of a stylized humanoid moth creature with white skin and hair and solid black eyes. They are in side profile looking up towards a painterly ball of light.
Digital painting experiment of my moth person OC, Byx-Morri (they should have fluff around their neck, but I forgot about it)

A pencil drawing of a person, from the shoulders up, laying on their front with their head turned towards the viewer. The background is shaded slightly dark, darkest at the bottom of the paper to convey a floor. Their eyes are wide and tearful in a panicked expression. They have no nose or mouth. They have long hair that is spread out on the floor, except for one strand that hangs in front of their face. They have one hand with their fingers curled on the floor in front of their face.

I actually like Tumblr, but I got scared about posting there, too, because even they decided to sell to AI companies (at least they have an opt-out option, but you're automatically opted-in unless you hunt down the setting) π₯²
I really wish I had better input for you. I never liked instagram to begin with. I had only gotten it before because I thought it was kind of a requirement as an artist. I am really debating deleting it, yet it still feels like it's a requirement to have π
An acrylic painting of a stylized person staring at the viewer with a hand partly in front of their face. The palm of the hand appears as if it could be pressed against glass. The background visible in the top fouth(4th) of the image is a dark, nearly black, purple. Their clothes and skin are grey, and there is a black gradient on the forehead and fingers. Their hair is black and pale pink and fills the majority of the background. Their irises are small and purple with no pupils.

A graphite drawing of two people standing in front of a gravestone, their backs to the viewer. The background is shaded dark, but there is a light circle left in the upper left corner, representing a moon. The person on the left has long hair and is wearing a brimmed hat and a long skirt. Their hair and skirt are being blown slightly left. The person on the right is taller than the one on the left and has an arm around their waist. They have short hair, and is wearing a brimmed hat and collared shirt with sleeves rolled up to their elbows. From the waist down, their body fades away into the background.
Mourning (2023) - Graphite on paper 11"x8"
A digital drawing of a creature called a Gazer from Dungeons and Dragons on a cream coloured background. It is drawn in black in a way to try and resemble charcoal. The Gazer is vaguely head shaped with rock shaped lumps over most of it and wrinkley skin in the area between its eye and mouth. There are four(4) eyes with horizontal pupils attached to tendrils on top of the head. It has one(1) large eye with an X shaped pupil in the center of the head. Its mouth is open, and you can see its sharp teeth.
Have a D&D Gazer I did last year and forgot about
