Legacy media is definitely struggling, and stuff like this might be part of why. When people's stories get buried under "expert" opinions, it disconnects the narrative from real experiences.

It's wild how often the voices of people directly affected get overshadowed by "experts" in many newspapers, magazines, TVs or radios stories. If someone's lived experience is being dismissed for lack of "expert" validation, what's the point.
