Last Friday I had the pleasure to present our work on the German Elections during the #Secure2025 conference.

I showed how we used the CDN to organize ourselves and how journalists, OSINT researchers, and fact-checkers collaborated on tackling the influence operation STORM-1516.

RT Germany Creates New X Account, Mocks Sanctions and the EU - Alliance4Europe The German-language branch of the Russian-sanctioned media RT set up a new X account in January and started posting on January 13.

RT DE recently created a new account on X. A few days after activating it, the account was suspended. X has now restored it.
Restoring an account like this is a concrete example of X's negligence or unwillingness to abide by European laws.

I've observed that they are only posting under posts with interactions. I'm not sure what that limit is or if they are also tracking keywords in the posts.

It seems like whenever a Bluesky post reaches X amount of interactions (likes, comments, and shares), the Russian influence operation Doppelganger engages with them. I want to see if my hypothesis is true and what that X is.

I'm going through around 100 #Doppelganger accounts here on #Bluesky. A few simple patterns are appearing. One that I am trying to understand is when they comment on your post with a DG post. It seems automated. Could you please help me test this by helping me reach 15 interactions on this post?
