“I don’t think she kept them to be honest. After we drifted apart when I left for college we didn’t really speak. I think your mom held that against me for a long time.”
Kate’s going to let out a little sigh with her soon turning her attention onto Ellie once again whilst sipping her tea.
Kate is going to frown ever so slightly as she’s glancing at Cassie who’s still sleeping in Ruby’s pocket and simply is going to pat the pocket a little bit to see if it jolts her.
However, Cassie is sleeping perfectly which makes Kate chuckle a little. “She’s out like a light isn’t she?”
“You know it’s going to be difficult right? I mean for me anyways since I have never really let loose before and wouldn’t know what to do.”
Kate’s going to rub her eyes slightly with her soon letting out a little bit of a groan at the hot water on her skin.
“Okay so from what I’m gathering this Pym tech is what’s being used to help Cassie turn into the size of a pin? Do you think maybe you can take Cassie out so we don’t forget she’s in there?”
Kate’s frowning a little bit now as she really wasn’t expecting to hear that of all things.
“Well when me and your mum were younger, our mother used to take us to the beach for school holidays. I still remember the day your mum found a huge seashell and got so excited.”
Kate’s letting out a soft chuckle at her words as she’s glancing over at Ellie before taking a sip of her tea.
Kate is going to let out another sigh but knows no matter what she says it’s not really going to happen so is throwing her hands up into the air.
“Alright fine fine we can think about a family vacation. I don’t see what’s wrong with going to the beach. My mum used to take me there.”
“Is she in a teapot? And she’s the size of a bug? Why is she so small? Do you not get worried about harming her when she’s that tiny?”
Kate is going to place her hands onto her hips now, a little bit of a frown gracing her features as she’s glancing down at a sleeping Cassie.
“Exactly! And your mom isn’t wrong about that one since we do need to be cautious of what we put in our bodies. We don’t want you getting sick with too much sugar but some on cereal is good.”
Kate is going to smile now as she’s glancing over at Ellie with a faint smile on her facial features.
“But vacations are boring after a day or two. It’s just the same thing over and over again. You just sit in a spot and I don’t know read or something and visit the same places!”
Kate’s going to let out a sigh now as she’s going to place her hands onto her own hips to prove she’s serious.
Kate is going to frown ever so slightly as she’s beginning to start patting her pockets lightly as she doesn’t want to hurt Cassie if she is indeed in her pockets.
“Maybe we should check the cupboards just in case she’s in any cups? She could be hiding in one of them.”
“Oh well it used to be your mother’s favourite breakfast too. But you know when your mum was a child, she used to have sugar on a slice of bread with butter and occasionally would have sprinkles too.”
Kate is taking a sip of her tea now, placing it down and has a spoonful of her weetabix.
“Well I don’t know where to go. I have things at unit to take care off and I don’t want to leave Shirley in charge cause believe me I be worried about the place blowing up.”
Kate is going to let out a little chuckle now but it is rather clear she doesn’t have the faintest idea where to go.
Kate is going to smile softly again as she’s giving Ruby’s hand a gentle squeeze before stepping back to see that Cassie has since disappeared and is now going to frown slightly
“Hang on where the hell is Cassie? She was here wasn’t she? Like just stood right here a few minutes ago.”
Kate is going to let out a soft chuckle now as she’s helping herself to a bowl of weetabix and sprinkles some sugar on top of her own before taking a seat next to Ellie as she’s mixing the sugar in.
“Well between me and you this is my favourite. I always found the cereal a bit bland without sugar.”
Kate is going to go quiet to what Tess is saying, thinking for a good few minutes about when was the last time she has taken some time to herself but realised she doesn’t actually know.
“I erm well I believe the last time I went on one was when me and Persephone were children. Yes that’s right.”
“Oh well as long as you are sure but I am still going to argue on the fact that you are going to want to do some chores as a guest. Remind me to do that myself when you have guests around.”
Kate is going to grin at Ruby now, hands coming to rest against her hips before she’s going back to cooking.
Kate is going to smile again, glancing over at Ellie again before adding a small sprinkle of sugar on top of the weetabix before giving her a little wink and steps away to make some toast.
“You know don’t tell your mum okay? I know she usually is against the idea of you having sugar but still.”
Kate is going to let out another chuckle to what Tess is saying, leaning into Tess more as she’s now starting to press a few soft kisses against her neck and grins.
“You know that would be a good idea. I would love to do a whole thing where we get to just be together for a while.”
“No Ruby you don’t have to do anything for me I promise. Honestly I would rather I do this for you and we don’t have to worry about anything else at all. Please don’t get me a gift.”
Kate is going to let out a little chuckle now as she’s soon glancing back over at Ruby once again and smiles.
“Of course you can Ellie and for being so patient about the whole thing how about we get you two happy meals later? It’s alright if you don’t finish them but I think you deserve a nice treat.”
Kate is going to move around her kitchen now to prepare Ellie a bowl of weetabix with milk.
Kate is going to chuckle softly as she’s pressing a soft kiss against Tess’s shoulders before allowing her eyes to close ever so slightly and is soon opening them to look at her again.
“Well that’s what happens when we have two children. It’s hard to get some time alone with them around.”
Kate is going to just smile at Tess, enjoying how playful she is being before pressing another soft kiss against her lips and is now going to touch the water to make sure it’s the perfect temperature.
“Alright this is better. Shall we relax under the water and do some making out shall we?”
“Well we can do that dear but you do know that the McDonald’s breakfast don’t have the happy meals. That isn’t until about eleven when they being out the happy meals.”
Kate knows that this is going to upset Ellie but she needs to let Ellie know that she will have to wait longer.
Kate is going to shake her head softly to what Ruby is saying as she doesn’t want a big fuss to be made all about her. Instead, she’s heading to the kitchen and grabs a few ingredients out of the cupboard.
“You know I was thinking we can make your favourite dinner but only if you would like too.”
“Oh well I’m so glad that you don’t want to turn down the opportunity for me to take you in the shower. Your rather cute you know especially when your talking like this.”
Kate can’t help but let out a faint laughter now as she’s going to help Tess to get out of her own clothes now.
“Well we can happily have some tea. How about we have some biscuits for breakfast and we can order something? You can even pick where we get breakfast from.”
Kate is going to smile softly at Ellie as she’s now heading into the kitchen to start preparing them both some tea.
“Oh no you don’t have to do that. I really don’t mind making breakfast for us all especially since you are my guests and you shouldn’t be making food.”
Kate is going to smile over at Ruby and Cassie now as she’s going to return the cuddle that she’s getting.
“We could absolutely do that if that’s something you would like to try. I mean the twins are both asleep and we don’t have anything better to do.”
Kate is going to let out a soft giggle now, her head resting against Tess’s waist before she let’s go and heads to the shower.
Kate is going to nod her head softly, rubbing her eyes to get rid of the last remaining traces of sleep from out of it as she’s now leaning in and presses a kiss to her forehead.
“I slept pretty good to be honest with you. I’m so glad you slept but let’s be quite a little since Tess is sleeping.”
“You are more than welcome Ruby. Now why don’t you and Cassie stay here for the night? I have plenty of room anyways and don’t plan on going to Unit anytime tonight.”
Kate is now going to guide Cassie and Ruby upstairs before opening up one of the bedroom doors. “Here we go.”
