Ya TO has a much bigger centre of operations (both connecting various Canadian warehouses, and American). I find it's a bit luck-of-the-draw here on whether an item comes next day or not (basically is it in our warehouse or Richmond's). If it's not there, it's usually coming from Toronto area.
It's been a lot better now that there is an Amazon warehouse at the airport. But ya, Amazon Prime "one day" shipping is typically 2-4 days here.
