Most discussions about “misinformation” treat the problem as if people simply don’t have good enough critical-thinking skills. It sounds intuitive, but it’s not entirely accurate. The problem isn’t just individual ignorance, it’s the structure of the information environment people are placed into.

This could be a good thing! Not sure if he has a non-compete in the 🍨world — but he could bring back or create new OG delicious creations, with just as fun backstories, names & perhaps better ingredients (why is the current crop of B&J’s mostly food-gums?). Maybe the future is brighter?!

I was looking through resale CL (had only tried on semi-recent stuff) & trying vintage on WAS AN EXPERIENCE. They're as exquisite as pre-millennial Manolos (which some new styles 🏆)
If the fintrends continue into a recession era- I’m inclined to see if CL goes back to those (deep & treasured) roots

I’m not sure where I am on this either (and I’m curious if we’ve reached the peak of red shoe mania)… but if it somehow helps fund his modern-soup-kitchen-concept-restaurant or another feasibly helpful endeavor in the bifurcated economy, then I’m ok with it!
*perhaps ‘eager’ isn’t right, but b/c they were living in an era with more positive change & (although it probably didn't seem so then) cause-and-effect (Nixon actually left), it seems more substantial now (ex. when you wanna learn about Watergate, you watch ATPM)

There’s a weird relationship with old school Brits & RL b/c he was born Ralph Lifshitz & democratized prep as fashion, not class ID. (Ex. He started his brand with “polo” ties that looked like the colorful ties polo players wore — but RL made the associations w/ color no longer a just a club thing)
Remember seeing your OG tweet & thinking how the horrible Stalin quote on statistics might still be true — today, thought of the famous quote about empathy by Hannah Arendt as well. Too many(esp. you!)have been pointing out “icebergs” to no avail for too long. Hopefully a “land ho” is on the horizon
If there’s a Nordstrom (or Macy’s/Bloomingdale’s) around you, they’re great a having a wide selection of brands to find your size in each one & makes online or resale sizing easier.
I’ve found Gap better quality than Express, but if you like it, you should try it (can always return)!
