As I said to him, it shows how little he knows me, as I’m anything but flamboyant. I’m very introverted, thanks to being both Autistic and prejudiced bigots like that who’ve bullied me all my life.🙄😂

I wonder if we’ll see a reduction in the hate comments, now that SFA has finished for the season? Just when I think I’ve blocked them all, more pop up. I had one calling me a “flamboyant gay” for liking SFA last night.😂I’m not afraid to love ALL of Trek though, never have been.

A thought I just had about #StarTrekStarfleetAcademy . When the Athena takes off or lands, does everyone in and around the campus buildings have to evacuate? I’d imagine, for a safety reason, they’d need people to clear well back, in case anything goes wrong. I’d love to see a take-off in Season 2.

All good points. There was “Who Watches The Watchers?” in TNG, with the planet full of “Proto-Vulcans”. The Vulcans and Romulans were closely linked. It’s a good point about the Klingons. I honestly loved the DSC Klingons and felt they were more believable as vicious, conquering aliens.

Interesting theory, although it doesn’t exactly say how they think it’ll link to “Doomsday”. It also disregards all of what happened in Series 4’s “The Stolen Earth” & “Journey’s End” where Rose came back to help save the day before returning to Pete’s World with a Metacrisis Duplicate of Ten.

I totally get that. I wasn’t sure of the theme at first. However, it’s now one of my favourite tracks to listen to. I even felt sad that we didn’t get it yesterday, as they didn’t use the normal title sequence for the season finale.

Very good interview, looking at the themes and messages in the season finale (don’t read if you haven’t seen it!). I like how they explain how the core messages aren’t just reflecting today’s world but the world whenever you’re watching it. As well as, being told who to trust. Very #StarTrek 🖖

That’s fair. I think it worked because he was only in a few episodes, rather than every episode. However, I did really enjoy when he did turn up. There were shades of Dukat and Vadic, especially in this week’s finale. He’s not in Season 2, so we’ll have to see how his absence affects things.

They’ve both been so good, as you’d expect from actors of their calibre. We’ve been very lucky to have them and I sincerely hope we’re able to get Paul back for a future season. I know he’s not in Season 2 but he’s up for Season 3, when it happens.🤞

I was looking as hard as possible during all the fleet shots, as it felt like a good place to put her. Good catch and it’s good she did eventually turn up.😁👏

Yeah, I had someone rejoicing at there not being a Season 2 the other day too. Suffice to say, I took great joy in telling them they’ve actually just finished filming Season 2.🙄😂

It’s great that it’s become the standard alert graphic (in all colours!) for every modern Trek show now.😁I also have my own LED lights pulsing in the different alert colours, for extra immersion when watching Trek.

Totally agree on every front. I loved how good Reno was, especially as a teacher and commander. Her no-nonsense, snarky way was just what the cadets (especially Caleb) needed.😀👏

It’s probably an Autistic thing but, as someone who’s always been able to recognise and enjoy the sound effects in #StarTrek , I like how modern Treks always have the Red Alert alarm going in the background. Older Treks always used to sound it for a short while and then silence it for dialogue.👏

Just finished the season 1 finale of #StarTrekStarfleetAcademy . Gorgeous episode, which embodied so much of what #StarTrek does best (including one line which made me laugh at how spot on it was about the current political situation!). Everyone had a chance to shine and play to their strengths.👏😀🖖

Watching the latest season of “Beavis and Butthead”, I can’t help but draw parallels, as the level of complete idiocy and goofy joy at being so incompetent is so similar. It’s also probably indicative of all the people who still, to this day, support Trump and co.

This is brilliant and perfect for showing the haters.😂
