Once more, what to Linda had been an acceptable, library speaking tone, to the frightened stranger came out as a bellowing roar, further terrifying the small man. His reaction to her assurance was to turn and begin to scramble to his feet so he could flee. “Ah…no…where are you going…you can’t…sir stop please?” Linda cringed, asking meekly and shimming forward on her haunches to keep up with the slow, but terrified man. “Go away, go away! Leave me alone!” The man begged, in his haste falling once more, this time forward, the tiny threads of the commercial carpet much more difficult for him to travel on than for Linda. The man's frantic pleas tugged at the strings of Linda’s heart, causing her to wonder what might have happened to cause such fear. Surely she didn’t look that terrifying, and she was a public employee, who was on the list of safe people to approach for help for Small’s and Micro’s who were separated from their caregiver.
Not written out, but wanted to do a shot of the 'lunch' Linda forces on Andrew at the end of chapter 4. In my head cannon they have a good time, as long as he can't see anything under protective blinders of a bent flashcard.
