Oh look, the Ohio Department of Heath has changed their login procedure AGAIN. And, strangely enough, it's broken. AGAIN.

He was too busy focusing on creating channels to send him bribe money for pardons and government contracts to focus on anything else. I mean, do you know just how much time it took to create the Shield of the Americas?

These companies are taking your money and selling you a dream. It's the equivalent of buying Florida swamp land or the Brooklyn Bridge.

But let say it would. Let's say you make it to the shelter, and it protects you against the open air explosions. What then? Do you have battery power for 3-4 years? Do you have clean water? Clean food source? Do you have enough filters for your CBRN systems?

warning. So the only way this shelter will help you is if you're living in it 24/7. Outside when the bomb explodes near you? Too late. Your best bet is to outrun the fallout (if any), or avoid the area littered with radioactive material. A shelter won't help you.

At best you could survive a dirty bomb, or a bomb delivered by package (on a ship, or airplane). If it's determined it's from a state actor, it's game over. Once that starts, it's all in. The only viable option is to launch everything at once. And if it's a dirty bomb or package, you will have zero

In the 50s-60s people rushed to build bunkers, but by the 70s they stopped. Why? Because a bunker won't save you. At most it means you will die a week later than everybody else (and probably not that). There is no such thing as a "limited exchange." Nuclear war is not survivable.

Yep. And not only is this that bad, combine it with leadership who are to a person ignorant of how things should be done, but that have never experienced real hardship or have empathy or sympathy for those who do.

My mom didn’t work when I was a kid (couldn’t afford to; she had seven kids) but she did every home repair she could manage, never bought premade food, we wore hand me downs and rarely had ”new” clothes, AND…

So last year I repositioned some long standing investments from an aggressive footing to a preserve capital footing, but I didn't fully realize just how much profit I realized by doing so. Sigh.

And while we can debate if that idea is actually beautiful, I think most of us can agree that it’s making these women look monstrous. It’s an ideal of beauty that has gone so far it’s ugly.

Beauty is subjective. But you can see that in their group these people are pushing and contorting themselves to fit an ideal they’ll never reach, but the closer they cleave to that ideal, the more they are accepted, appreciated, and “loved” within their group.

Well, that’s the thing. For their group there is this ideal of beauty (Ivana and Melania), and you can see them, the group of them, converging toward that ideal… and it makes them even uglier
