I was already kind of pulling away, I was so angry about “gods plan” when my dad was sick & dying. I think being out of the echo chamber & meeting more & new people just sort opened my eyes. I think it was nearly a decade before I truly accepted I was Athiest tho
At 18, just a few months after my dad died I was abandoned by my entire group of friends because I had a “demon attached to me” because my boyfriend used that as a reason to break up with me.
