If you already have a car, consider getting a trailer hitch installed at uhaul and then buying a small trailer. Your car is now a small pickup, but only when you want it to be, and you spent like maybe $1,500-$2,500 total.

Ben Carson is the best example, imo. By all accounts, a brilliant, innovative brain surgeon. Otherwise, huge dummy.

I thought that Stan letting them go seemed dumb.
We're like halfway through season two and The Pitt is already the GOAT middle-brow procedural. It's perfect. Nobody who watches it doesn't love it.
I demand more details.
I have basically no interest in it except I do enjoy pull tabs and the Monopoly game at McDonalds.
We saw a much better one: "I worked with Elon at Tesla and none of this surprises me."
Edge lords and edge ladies.
IIRC there is a historical connection, but it's that a bunch of white settlers in that part of Utah were from the south and were super duper racist.
I had a friend of a friend who turned down a loan during this time. I don't remember the numbers, he had a low income and his only asset was a car that was worth like $3000.
Trying to make sure I got my head around this. Does this mean the lenders did a bad job of assessing foreclosure risk for investors? Like, the investors had good credit scores, but in reality they couldn't afford the loan?
Anti war stuff.
If I'm spending a small fortune on a family vehicle, I'm going for one of those VW bus EVs.

I agree. There was a pop-up protest in my town. Last weekend, and some people had Iran signs. No Kings III is coming up March 28, and I expect to see Iran protests with that.
It seemed impossible that this would NOT happen.
Also, it says it took 18 people to make that AI video, and without actually looking it up I am VERY confident that the Arc Music Company didn't have a staff that big.
Th Rebecca Black stage of cultural degradation was so much funner.
Also, I think there's an infinitesimal chance that what really happened is somebody told him they weren't sure how to use cash or count change because they had always bought groceries with a card.
Only somebody who doesn't know how money works at a grocery store could think that somebody using SNAP wouldn't know how money works a a grocery store.
When they talk about framing, I think they are taking about persuading voters, not persuading the fossil fuel magnates.
And because they lie more.
I think there's a good chance that Lakoff is basically right about framing, but basically wrong (or too uninterested in?) the conditions that make framing possible. The right does frame the debate linguisitcally and psychologically. They can do that because they control resources and institutions.
Can you IMAGINE the shit they'd give him if he had made a cute little vertical video about it?
I do understand that, but some Christians will appeal to Old Testament passages like this as proof texts against LGBTQ people. It bugs me because there's something between nothing and practically nothing about trans people in the Bible, but they claim to see a lot about trans people in there.
Red: the only passage in the Bible that can be read as maybe saying something about trans people. This is taken to be a universal prohibition against all trans people for all time.
Green: fake laws that Christians don't have to follow. It's actually heresy if you *do* enforce these laws.
I keep trying to figure out what these guys get out of this. Why be a congressperson if you have no power? My best guesses are that they are auditioning for bribes or that they all think they themselves will be president someday if they can hang on long enough.

The Simpsons did the Kronos and Kang Halloween episode, and Rage Against the Machine did the Sleep Now in the Fire music video. No amount of information can overcome pop culture tropes.
And he was still left of 90s Republicans.
Did you see the poll that said 72% of of registered voters could not find Iran on a map?
