There is still time to turn this year around it's by releasing Devil Survivor 3.
Repost with more clarity: How much English does Yuji Horii (and also Ishiyama) speak? Because if they think the way we say "I" is the only way we describe someone's character and personality while we speak, then they don't know very much. We have... other words that we also use while speaking.
Heβs still just butthurt about Richard Honeywood disagreeing on the name of that horse.

In the anime, you'll get a scene where Rin and Shirou go on a date and it's cute.
But in the VN, Shirou feels miserable and horrible the whole time, he doesnt think he deserves such a happy time.
But the anime doesn't give us that aspect or accommodate for it, so it removes the point of the scene.
The core issue with the FSN story, is that Shirou spends a lot of time narrating and you get to be inside his head.
FSF cutting narration is fine because it's all 3rd person.
But Shirou's narration is in 1st person and a core part of the story is him being so broken, but thinking he's normal.
Awww, I like most of the other forms colourwise and im less on physicam.
I think it's more like, the lightness of the suit makes it look odd
In an anime, you need to make that conversation <visually> interesting too, and often show how the characters are thinking wordlessly, when they're all reacting to massive amounts of tiny details. Conveying narration in these scenes is also difficult.
He did! I was happy to hear it.
His works are hard to adapt because of how often scenes are just two or three characters standing around talking for extended lengths of time, following their own individual stories, before eventually the stories all crash into each other.
I wrote up a piece on everything we know for now about pokemon champions, give it a look!

what do you even mean by 'figure out', they're pretty clear about everything. it's all pretty easily rationalisable without knowing anything else about TYPE-MOON besides 'what a dead apostle is'
Strange Fake was CRAZY good this week. Nobody does it like John Strange Fake.
I'm up to date on the light novels and this shit fucking RULES.
Narita works are inherently hard to adapt into anime and trying to make 2x minute episodes that feel like they have good ending parts when there is so much to cover is hard.
Complainers are pretentious wiki divers imo
One year ago, Ave Mujica dropped an episode with a twist so good, it had every yuri fan suddenly take any trick in the book of the usual homophobic naysayers, to walk around Uika's romantic feelings just to make the show more "palatable".
Genuinely iconic.
9 Games that 'made you who you are', huh?
Well, I guess my list has to look like this
srpg maps are so hard to design good lord
Persona 5 X
Ougi Riddle (2013)
A screenshot of Kamen Rider Zeztz, episode 19 - Decide. Two girls with jackets on over basketball uniforms fight a tokusatsu monster. One of them has a baseball bat, like Evan did during the Ashen Waste episode.
Ashen Waste - EverymanHYBRID (2010)
I feel nothing, in a really kind of disappointed way
I straight up went from 'oh shit this is super cool' to feeling absolutely nothing about Paranormasight in about 5 minutes thanks to the true ending.
That was a straight up cop-out
