WITH THAT SAID, for something you absolutely hate drawing/have no real interest in/just need it for a scene? Honestly, trace that car model. Just trace it. This is of course an entirely personal decision. I'll always advocate for eyeballing for the stated (and more unstated) reasons (2)

Anywho, no one asked, but my personal advice/opinion is: I always advocate/prefer eyeballing 3d models over tracing. This is so that you build up and retain your visual memory and skill, build speed and cut down on reliance should you be w/o (1)

Walk into a Pokémon centre. See the queue is snaking around half the store, to the point you can't really browse

I know I enjoy taking the train, but every time I do a long journey I always underestimate how great taking the train really is

Train is awesome, I love train. Everyone should get to experience the joy of cross-country trains

Kyoto's public bathrooms are, at least, partially paid for by the tourist tax on hotel stays

And, like, please. You're welcome to increase that if you use it to stock the bathrooms with 2 ply 😫

I mean, Japanese toilet paper kinda sucks full stop. But it's not so necessary for cleanliness, just drying.

But goooodddd whatever was in my hotel room and every public toilet is extra awful.... 1 goddamn ply in 2026.....

Kyoto is nice but.... I don't think I've ever been anywhere in the world where every toilet is stocked with ONE PLY

Ough, I booked a 5pm train back to Tokyo to let myself do some more sightseeing, but now it's actually The Day, I want to rest my legs

So I'm trying to work out what the hell I can do that is fairly easy on the legs.... And isn't a park because it's fekkin cold

I want to experience the fun Pokémon personalities too, but farming sim/ minecraft-like is just an Instant Turn Off for me 😔

Really couldnt think of a spin off idea that's less attractive to me gameplay wise, hahahaha.... :')

There has been a mysterious pudding flavoured drink in the hotel vending machine that has intrigued me

So since I'm moving on tomorrow, I decided to try it and

I try and think a lot in world building how different the towns of a people who aren't afraid to fall would be

I come back, and he is UNTUCKED and they have made the bed :(

I've got 1 more full day in Kyoto to sightsee, but imma be honest

Right now I just feel like laying in bed and nursing my sore legs, hahahaha :')

Super Nintendo land is a good experiment in the changing theme park landscape in the smartphone era

But the fact the queue system is kinda still stuck in the pre smartphone era is an actual tragedy? It doesn't have to be like this!

Virtual queues for your big rollercoasters means people can sit the fuck down, or do something else, until the final 20 minutes or so

Instead they used it on a massive capacity theatre simulator for a fukkin talk show host no one outside of the US cares about....

It's actually kinda frustrating that the only time I've been to a theme park that used a virtual queue.... It was for the fucking Jimmy Kimmel ride in Orlando and by the time my family went (like a year after it opened) the virtual queue wasn't even necessary it was so under capacity....

For many people, these are their dream holidays. A price increase doesn't deter them!
Paying extra to go into an area doesn't deter people!

Just... Reduce the number of people IN the parks. It'll be fine. I promise
