One disgusting aspect of all this is Trump fundamentally doesn’t care about it at all. He barely knows where any of these places are. He likes cash in brown envelopes and being on TV as Mr Big Important Guy. He’s just willing to pull any lever he thinks might keep that stuff flowing indefinitely.
Each one of those three missiles costs 33% more than the annual budget of the national park where I work.
