yah unfortunately, and even then you can never really know what may crop up health wise in the future. Ive meet lots of Shitzus/mixes while working in a shelter and they almost always have at least something with there eyes or teeth, best i can recommend is just doing research

Shitzus can also have breathing issues as well as eye and joint problem in the knees or hips depending entirely on breeding and genetics

I can kinda say this about a lot of my ocs when it comes to overall use, but Azakaza also has some bittersweet memories attached to him that I wonder would be best in the long run to part with and finally let go 🥺

I've been conflicted on this for like years now

I've also been contemplating about parting with Azayaka but the sentimental value is REALLY strong and i worry about regretting it big time so i just dont know-- but i also havent actively given him any love in quite some time 😭

This happened the last time I got super sick and it turned into a chest infection so I'm worried thats the case once more
