Aaaand my favorite book I read this year was Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë!

I feel a bit behind reading through a lot of classics for the first time at 35, but this one really surprised me. I thought it would feel outdated and slow but that wasn’t the case for me at all. Wish I had read it sooner!

So here, after fifty years, is Fahrenheit 451. I didn’t know what I was doing, but I’m glad that it was done.

I've decided on Fahrenheit 451 as my final book of the year. I have read Bradbury, but for some reason, never this one.

Usually I skip the forewords but decided not to, and I'm glad I read this one because it was lovely, and ended thus.

I was gifted the Folio Society edition of Frankenstein by my SIL 😭💖💖 it’s a really beautiful edition, and the interior illustrations are perfect. I think it’s totally worth getting as a treat if you loved the book.
