Just got home from seeing Hoppers, which was very cute and full of weird, chaotic energy. It’s the kind of movie that the Pixar upper brass could never make anymore.

Just the worst, most anodyne sounds a band could make. It's no wonder groups like Maroon 5 and Imagine Dragons showed up to bury the genre. Who was gonna stop them?

What killed rock was the hat trick of nu-metal, post-grunge and indie rock. Three garbage subgenres all in a row strangled the life out of rock radio. No one wants to hear that shit.
