Antimicrobial resistance is a global problem, and we address it with light! 💡
Within the PanEuCOPT COST Action, the contribution of all the Women members is celebrated today at the occasion of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science!
Thanks to @thesciencegoat.bsky.social for highlighting the aims of our Action!
Get ready for an active 2026!
More exciting news are coming, if the French administration allows it! 🫣
‼️This was also a great opportunity to introduce the @paneucopt.bsky.social initiative, where Bianka Siewert and collaborators aim to shape the PACT research that takes place in Europe, aiming to increase the confidence from our stakeholders!
🗣️ On the other hand, last Tuesday I was invited by Anne-Laure Bulin to give a seminar at the IAB in Grenoble, with "Bringing light to pathogens: light-driven strategies for disinfection of pathogens" 💡, where I hope I convinced them of the importance of PACT as an alternative for disinfection!
A very interesting exchange with curious minds, willing to learn and not afraid to tell their ideas! 😀 maybe I convinced them that bacteria are cool and that, and even if they can be scary, there are many things we can learn from them!
💬 During the last two weeks I spent some time between two different audiences:
👩🏫 On the 21st of January, I was invited to present a bit of my scientific background to children (between 11-13 years old) going through a home-schooling program in Italy.
Great news! 🎉
