I think it's really a symptom of most mythicals from gen 6-gen 8 tbh. Unless its an extremely big standout (like Diancie), they didn't have any in-game lore or event, they just kinda got dropped on you. You're not using it in a playthrough, and there's no fun event to learn more about it,
