I went to St. Francis in Roswell for most of my life—I can’t believe this is happening!

I mean… I don’t know what he’s supposed to do? I don’t mean to sound like a Boone apologist, but it’s not his fault that the offense (and now the bullpen) has hit a wall. No matter what, he’s always going to back his own guys to the media—that’s the top reason he still has his job.
Offense hasn’t taken the next step (I was fooled by his postseason and his first few games of the season) and we have now seen his defense deteriorate (especially since the start of May)
Volpe will have his first year of being arbitration-eligible this winter… think the Yankees have to look in the mirror and decide if they really want to be paying him real money starting in ‘26
I think the Yankees lead baseball in catcher interferences since the start of the 2021 season (first full season with Tanner Swanson on the staff)
What’s he supposed to say? Sorry that Escarra stuck his glove out and then Weaver threw a fastball down the middle with the bases loaded?
It’s still 90% of his season! It matters, that’s just how numbers work!
You can “take out” the “take out” part and just use his last x amount of games then because it’s a large amount of a sample size to worry.
This is an extremely boomer take from me, but the Yankees’ offensive slide literally coincides with Aaron Judge being given his first day off of the season on June 12. 7 runs in their last 7 games and their season wRC+ has dropped from 129 to 120 in that span (.813 OPS to .781 OPS in that span).
If you take out Anthony Volpe’s hot start to begin the year where he hit .297/.366/.703 (1.069 OPS) with 4 HR in his first 9 games of the year, he’s hitting .224/.298/.372 (.670 OPS) with 4 HR over his last 63 games (since April 7). And he’s also been worth -3 DRS at SS over the last 7 weeks!
Maybe the NFL slop is all the friends we made on the way (except Sh)
The Knicks’ sixth man has been one of their most impactful players this season. Why isn’t he seeing the floor more?

Just when we thought we'd seen it all from Jalen Brunson in his first two seasons with the Knicks, The Captain reached another level in year three.
Guest contributor @maxwildstein.bsky.social broke down Brunson's historic third season in New York:

Brunson/KAT/Hart/Bridges/OG played 21 minutes, 46 seconds together tonight against the Suns.
That lineup outscored them 68-to-45 with a 151.1 OffRtg and 48.8 NetRtg.
Karl-Anthony Towns’ opponent FG% in the restricted area:
First 6 Games: 82.9% Opp. FG%
Last 7 Games: 62.6% Opp. FG%
He’s scoring so much right now because he wants OUT of this game
Jericho Sims recreating the DeAndre Jordan/Brandon Knight play is great
Love this for both Brunson and Bridges
Saw somewhere that the Yankees will be getting around an extra $15M in revenue because of this
oh that’s excellent
is deck.blue just TweetDeck? because i do definitely miss that
I don’t wanna talk about it
Yankee legend Charlie Keller just missing this list!
