We had an all staff summit on AI yesterday and "the reward for using AI to do things faster is just more work" was discussed. Like, why would I on purpose let everyone know that the two jobs I already do could be increased to three if I just stopped taking any pride in my work.
So would I be able to sue our local hospital group for closing their youth gender clinic even though gender affirming care for minors is still legal in my state? And now we have to go to a secret clinic with more security than the airport to get my kid care? Is this not a parental right?

I was in high school for the Gulf War and the anti-war march whose route went past the boy's school (I went to a girls' Catholic school with a "brother" boy's school around the corner) and got spit on. I was teaching when the post-9/11 wars started and again: you were not allowed to vocally object.

But food needs gas to get to your town so that you can buy it to live. If gas goes up 20% and stays that way for more than a few days, food prices will follow in short order.
My city currently has 50% of the population it had in 1940. It's really not all that densely packed and has 4000 acres of city owned parkland.
I've had physical TVs in order to watch movies and stuff but have never paid a cable bill in my adult life. And definitely long periods of many years where there was no TV, period.
Now the TV is mostly a conduit for playing video games.
I didn't own a TV for like 20 years 👀 so at least I'm being true to my brand.
