It took some time because SeatGeek was being weird, but I got tickets to the Saturday morning game! I'm pumped!
I just found out the conference tournament for NCAA women's basketball is in Cleveland, and ticket prices for the Sat morning game are excellent, and I'm VERY tempted to go!
She's a beaut! Can't wait to fill her up!
Mine's in the mail! Whee!
I told myself I could organize my comic books if I exercised, and that is the first time in my life I've ever used organizing as a reward
in case you've never seen it, this is Roger Ebert on The Mummy
Last day to grab my fantasy e-book free on Kindle! Link in bio

Send good vibes my way if you can spare some!

A book promo graphic. In the Arms of the Restless Sea, a novella set in the world of the Heartfriends. When Nessa and her fellow priestesses are abducted from their temple by bounty hunters, Nessa is the only one to escape. Unable to return to the sole home sheβs ever known, she is forced into the great wide world, where she will either forge her own path or leave her life up to chance. Along the way, she just might find a family, find herself, and find out what βhomeβ truly means.
If novellas are more your cup of tea, IN THE ARMS OF THE RESTLESS SEA is set in the world of my epic fantasy trilogy but can be read as a standalone!

a book promo graphic for The Shadow of the Endless Night, the second book in an epic fantasy trilogy. Three main POVs (all women!); finally! a map!; the corruption of magic; the cool sword is still here, btw; everything has to get worse before it can get better. like...way worse; deities handing out frustratingly vague instructions. Available at Amazon, B&N, Bookshop.org, and more
Book 2's turn! #EpicFantasy that will appeal to Wheel of Time fans, Megan Whalen Turner fans, and readers who love female-forward fantasy!
Congrats!
DC's Kal-El-fornia Love comic featuring Superboy (Connor), Supergirl, Superman, Lois Lane, Superboy (Jon), Power Girl, and some others on the cover
Finished this last night and loved it! Ironically, I picked it up for Supergirl and found her story the weakest. I don't believe Kara Zor-El wouldn't understand a soccer metaphor, lol

What's it about? Marked by gray eyes that prophesy the death of magic, Aurelia seeks to avert her destiny by serving as advisor to the prince of Sunniva, but a chance to reunite two broken kingdoms soon forces Aurelia to decide where her loyalty lies--with her prince or with her magic. Meeting Brennus, the first male born with magic in centuries, further complicates her choice. When Edana, the first seeress in generations, receives a vision concerning the end of the kingdom, she embarks on a mission to locate the subjects of the prophecy only to stumble upon a threat to all those with the gift of magic. As prophecy becomes clearer and the future darker, they discover there are two sides to every coin--good and evil, hope and destruction, fate and chaos. Only they can restore balance, and only they can plunge the world into eternal darkness.
Meet Aurelia of the Heartfriends series. The last person born with magic. A healer, but can wield a dagger in a pinch! Heartfriend (like a magical bestie) to a prince. Has some trust issues (but who doesn't?). She's trying her best, okay? And a picture of a woman in a green and white dress with a sword standing near a river.

Yep! a while back!
a panel from DC's Kal-El-fornia Love starring Lois Lane, who says, "But we need journalists to be held accountable by their peers, not influencers. We need journalists who can't be bought by advertisers. We need journalists who think of the people, not the money. After all...you don't have to be a superhero to fight for truth."
a very timely argument from Lois Lane:
a comic book panel showing Bruna the Simian throwing Jimmy Olsen off a cliff. Jimmy: "--since I broke her heart and she threw me off a cliff? NOPE." Clark: "Not even a text?" Jimmy: "A text?! Don't be ridiculous. Gorillas don't understand emojis."
actually dying in the Laundromat from "gorillas don't understand emojis"
a pan from DC's Kal-El-fornia Love that shows two gorillas and two humans. the biggest text says: the gorilla ex-wife of Jimmy Olsen

for some reason, thinking tonight about all the awesome actresses we could've had in #WheelOfTime if we'd gotten more seasons!
Decided to try out the movie Ava tonight with Jessica Chastain. Always a delight when Geena Davis pops up!
