2) It should be brutally honest.

Clarence Thomas has betrayed the struggle of Black people. He’s been a defender of white supremacy, an enabler of injustice, an apologist for oppression, a turncoat on civil rights, a beneficiary of the movement he now undermines,

If you're a service member being ordered to prep for deployment for the War in Iran and you have moral and/or ethical misgivings on all this, remember that you have the right to apply for conscientious objector status.

Two rows in front of us was an elderly veteran with a WWII hat. At intermission I told I was doing the math and figured he was already 100 or very close. He said 99 y/o. ❀️

Tonight we saw Cincinnati Pops perform American Mosaic by Peter Boyer. Martin Sheen narrated. Video/Photos by Joe Sohm. It was beautiful & stunning. Showed the beauty of our multicultural nation. WE’RE TAKING IT BACK!!!!

I keep seeing people ask about the 25th Amendment.

Guys. His entire Cabinet is walking around in shoes that don’t fit because they’re scared to take them off.

The 25th is never happening.

Teddy Roosevelt broke up the monopolies and created national parks to preserve nature from those monopolies.

Harry Belafonte was some kind of civil rights/acting/singing superman. He also made a bunch of interesting albums in the late 60s and early 70s, donning his folk-rock cape. I've written about them on my Record Room page: www.patreon.com/bobstanley

No, that’s definitely lacking in their caucus.

Sen. Jim Jeffords of VT left the GOP in 2001 and began caucusing with the Dems giving them a clear majority from the previous 50/50 split. The GOP's hold on the House is tenuous and every loss for the GOP moves us a step closer to showing the obsequious Mike Johnson the door.

He absolutely needs to caucus with the Dems. Otherwise it’s an empty gesture.

That they released a report that we lost 92,000 jobs, odds are it's actually much worse.

1 million Americans died when he was president due to his bungling of the pandemic. Never lowered the flag for any of them, either.

The most common middle name for serial killers is Wayne, so it's fitting that the new head of DHS is MarkWAYNE Mullin.

Trump just gave Oklahoma Dems such a golden opportunity, filing deadline (unlike most places) hasn't passed yet. Any appointed Sen is easier than Millionaire Mullin

If they wanted to [they don't] they have 4 whole weeks to find someone. Maybe @runforsomething.net has someone great in their rosters

One was a carpenter; the other was a locomotive mechanic (and union organizer!). Both worked on or at two iconic Cincinnati buildings. The carpenter worked on the construction of the Carew Tower; the other worked at Union Terminal during WWII.
