Well, that was the idea - the irony of a crew that would dissolve in a storm. But it wasn't water they were sailing on. It was a "sea of stars" where, while the surface looked and felt like water, the actual stuff under was more like space. So you actually would not get wet.

No, not people who steal cotton candy. A pirate ship where the entire crew except for the captain are made out of cotton candy, and use their sticks as swords.
