By the way, it is completely normal and indeed sensible to tactically substitute your goalkeeper after seventeen minutes. More teams should do it.

You never see referees wearing long sleeves at the top level, do you? Assistants, yes, but not the match referee. I would break rank and go long sleeves, thermals and gloves, personally. Possibly a snood in the peak winter months, too.
These fighting age males have been radicalised.
It is dreadful. In my time in Glasgow, I never really found a good one. Aberdeen has some good ones, but I have found the much-vaunted Sea, Salt and Sole to be very overrated. Hass's, in my experience, is probably the best in the city. A bit further out, but Quayside in Gourdon is world class.
I am in a dire position with my Jaffa Cake consumption at the moment. If you see a man driving to Dundee in his bare feet with a load of boxes of Jaffa Cakes on his lap, mind your own business.
The fire in Glasgow is obviously very bad, but let's be blunt here: Blue Lagoon is dreadful. I know Aberdonians have higher standards when it comes to these things, but it is dreck. Tourist trap slop, or the absolute last resort in a drunken stupor.
She's more of a rugby woman (admits it).
Police Scotland have confirmed that one individual - Julie Anderton, from Slough - has been arrested and charged in relation to the disgraceful scenes at full-time of the Scottish Cup quarter-final between Rangers and Celtic at Ibrox Stadium in Glasgow.
The matter is now closed.
Tag yourself. I'm the old guy who tries to get Bajrami to sign his programme while he is being restrained by a member of staff.
Truly pathetic stuff from Danny Rohl, there.
Liam Scales, by the way: nowhere near as bad as some Celtic fans make him out to be, is he? He's not Virgil van Dijk, but he's a very upper-end Premiership defender.
Admittedly, when I watched him at Darvel for Aberdeen a few years back, I didn't think he would develop into anything close to that.
A BBC Sport post reading: 15:56 GMT FT: Rangers 0-0 Celtic (Celtic win on pens) We've asked all parties involved, including both clubs and the police, for comment.
It wasn't a high quality game, but this feels like an overreaction from the BBC.

Joel Mvuka since coming on for Celtic here:
Cvancara and Mvuka are absolutely killing Celtic here. Just means Rangers can chain attacks, although Celtic are defending well enough to prevent anything clear-cut just now.
Precisely. I mean, I think Scales probably is offside, but I'd rather just go with the assistant's call either way, if that's the best we can produce to overturn it.
I don't want to go full Celtic Da, but I think my head would be on Mars if Aberdeen got a goal disallowed for this by VAR and then they produced this image to back it up.
It's the apps (mostly Prime, but some others too) I seem to have most problems with. Constantly having to refresh them through Settings to stop issues, but it's every few weeks now.
It's my own fault, of course, but I think purchasing a Sky Glass TV might be one of the worst decisions I have ever made. Just an objectively dreadful piece of technology.
Thelin had a lot of control over recruitment - even to the point of handpicking his own Head of Recruitment - and that has been a big contributor to the mess we now find ourselves in, both on and off the pitch.
A few things about Lutz for Aberdeen fans to know:
- very strategic in how he operates
- big personality, people person. Not someone whoβll be chained to a desk. The North East will know heβs there.
- The idea of a club like Aberdeen with a history has appealed to him for a while
If AFC get Lutz, theyβll be getting someone with tremendous credibility. I say this as someone who knows him well & have seen first hand his ability to build, lead & use a worldwide contacts network to great effect.

Daft little ground, silly game, fuck off.
And, you know, as we showed with Thelin and Robson before him, 'taking our time' guarantees getting it right!
I have been very impressed by Chilokoa-Mullen both times he has played against us for Dunfermline in the Scottish Cup now. We should maybe think about signing him, but we would probably only succeed in making him look like peak Anthony Stewart.
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
This is the inevitable but utterly avoidable consequence of Lutz and Dave's directionless dithering.
Between him and McGarry, that should probably be enough evidence to stop signing players from the A-League.
This post was a very niche play on DR's post when Geiger signed, but I agree with the sentiment. Fully deserve everything we are getting. We look - and are - horrendous.
Still having to pinch myself at being 2-0 down to Championship opposition in the opening half hour of a Scottish Cup quarter-final. Not sure every Aberdeen fan quite understands what a coup this is. Previously unthinkable that this would happen. But it has, thanks to Lutz!
At least we're not rushing the managerial appointment, though.
