I’ve finished a few soap dispensers for the house. It’s nice to find something new and useful to make.

I picked up my first teapot today. It only took a month to make. I’m pleased and when I’m ready to do another, I have ideas for improvement.
I’m in experimentation mode and looking forward to seeing how the glazes will mix and meld (and hopefully not just slough off) when they’re fired.
Thanks Chris!
My teapot and more mugs are going in the kiln this week. Then… I think I’m done with mugs for a while.

Too much?
A less busy weekend of pottery. My first attempt at brush on glazes was a moderate success… the shape and feel of these mugs was a complete success. I think I learned from the process and will see if adjustments create a different result.
Happy to see you here. :)
Works in progress, all started during winter break. I’m looking forward to glazing this weekend. I feel odd saying it where anyone can see it, but I’m proud of my work.
