They made online gambling in Canada recently like 1-2 years ago, and all of the ads everywhere are for gambling now, kind of crazy
Now that we have announced that we are releasing TankRat on PS5, feels good to finally be able to talk about it. Optimizing for PS5 always helps me find things to fix also on the PC build, so looking forward for people to check out both versions!
TANK you!
Make sure to check out the steam and ps5 pages to wishlist it :)
Definitly a bit worse now on quality, but if I never have to bake lighting again, I will take it. Something else quite interesting for things like lumen, it has a bunch of artifacts, but most people dont seem to care
That looks so good, I tried to make this for our terrain displacement long ago but never got that far
If you are looking for a good game for your steam deck, you can check out this review of @playtankhead.bsky.social running on steamdeck if you launch it through EGS.

It also looks like the ran into the same limitations we ran into on FarCry 5, which we fixed in FarCry 6, but unfortunately I never got to the present all the fixes from FarCry 6, which is a shame, as our water tech was quite amazing
We shipped the screen space water technology in FarCry 5 and since than Doom has used the same idea after my GDC talk and it's awesome to see the same thing make it into the new indiana jones game as well.
I learned today that if you accidentally disable per bone motion blur on a skeletal mesh, it will disable writing motion vectors completely and your skeletal mesh quickly becomes a giant blob on the screen. Might need to rename that flag
FastBuild is pretty sweet compared to the alternatives if you have a choice
Been playing with the steam deck lately, I can capture an unreal insights on device and upload it through desktop mode but has anyone managed to connect to it live?
One of the last remaining custom engine indie game studios of that size
Looks like everyone is making their way to here! Welcome!
