Finished chapter 8 and 9! I’m on a roll. Added in a text conversation chapter and now onto 10!! But that can wait till tomorrow.

My hot writing take about tense and POV is stop blaming YA for why some adult romance readers are demanding first person POV. Deal with your own readers. Stop using YA as a cudgel for everything you think is wrong with adult books.

my hot writing take is that playing with POV is neat and you can do what you want. present tense first! close third! first-person-direct-address with bits of omniscient third! anything is legal if you look good doing it!!
My goal is to finish chapters 8-11 this week.
So I didn’t finish chapter 8 but I did finish 7. Waiting for some feedback before I move on. Either way I competed something and I’m moving forward. Thanks for helping keep me accountable.
