Mother. Metalhead. MD. Gamer. Chaos Gremlin. Bi. Louisianian. πππ Yakuza/Like a Dragon/Judgment is my favorite game series. I like to platinum Playstation games. It's what I do. Retweets =/= Endorsement Inbox open. Probably.
Zoomers are so cooked, we just got a legendary hot Calvin Klein ad with Dakota Johnson & all they can keep saying is how this is βfor the male gazeβ π you dumb bitches itβs a fucking underwear ad youβre SUPPOSED to be hot in it youtu.be/pHetI7RoWCw?...
Yakuza 3 fishing minigame was peak.
How they made it so horrible in Yakuza 0 I'll never understand.
Been enjoying Resident Evil Requiem when I can play it. Which is just generally for a little bit at night because don't want the kiddo around during it. Just got to the basement of the Care Facility.
π Tried watching someone stream Lost Judgment but they were playing with English voices. Just... no. I can't. It breaks my immersion.
And, like always, someone from the Amon clan rears their ugly head to challenge the main character on who's superior. Anyway... All in all. Good times. I'll replay it at another time.
Like more recent Yakuza games, they have definitely made the plat easier/more obtainable. No longer needing 100% but that doesn't mean you still can't go enjoy minigames and other modes. The Devils Flag side story was enjoyable for what it was.
#Platinum 204: Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii. Bit of a clean-up as I started this last year but its fun. It's nonsensical. But it's fun. We get a lot of guest stars in this one from Kson (lovely) to Samoa Joe. Fun times all around. I can't comment on Joe's performance as I play in JP.
I am kind of curious what it would do. π
Why you gotta do this to me Resident Evil? π
#Platinum 203: Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties. So, to start off with the good: Visually it's great. Combat is nice. Bounding and juggling enemies is quite fun. The added scenes, especially with Hamazaki (who only had like 3 scenes in the original) was nice. Cont.
All in all. Kiwami 3 was middle grounds for me. I liked a lot of changes, disliked a lot of others. Absolutely loathed the ending. But, thanks to being in to comics, I can just chalk Kiwami series up to as an alternate universe and keep the canon in my head secure with the original timeline.
Morning Glory and the Haisai Girls modes were great additions. Especially Morning Glory. I said it once already but I'll take expanded modes like that over bloated numbers of substories, many of which hold no substance. Cont
Dark Ties was a serviceable side mode involving Mine. A nice little story showing exactly how he manipulated Kanda in to getting in to the yakuza himself. Mine's combat style is a nice change of pace from Kiryu's as well. Hell's Arena was a garbage side mode, though. Speaking of side modes... Cont.
The bad: The retconned ending. Some of the recasts. While new Rikiya grew on me in looks, his new VA just didn't really do it for me. I was okay with Nakahara's change. Wasn't okay with Hamazki, and not because of reasons one might think. I think he just lost all his uniqueness. Cont.

I think planning ahead for the holidays is a good thing. I often do any of my shopping for holidays around the middle of the year so I'm not running around crazy worrying about it. π
Love we got a release date for Wolverine but... September? That's going to be a pass for me. Trails in the Sky Second Chapter's remake is set to release around that time so Wolvie gonna have to be a "pick up at a later date."
If it was f2p I'd totally get it. Way to make money for the servers, etc. But stuff like that being in full priced games is ridiculous.
Finished up the Morning Glory side content on Kiwami 3 today and all the bond events with the kids. I'll take this over substories with no substance any day. The game definitely has its flaws but this was not one of them.
you know, the only thing that ever bothered me about final fantasy x-2 was how useless the ultimate dresspheres were

Expert Pool is done! Thankfully. Everything else should be smooth sailing.
The Fire Emblem Character Of The Day is Effie! #Effie #Nintendo #FE #FireEmblem
I don't mind the Expert AI being cracked in Pool in Yakuza 3. What I do mind is whatever dev or play tester in charge of making sure pool works properly a-okaying it with the stick sensitivity issues (PS4/5) that causes your shots to veer off course. I hope them the worst.
It is okay to be friends with someone who has opinions and views different than yours. I'm tired of this mentality you can't have friends unless they think exactly like you on all subjects and if you are friends with them you're just "as bad" as them.
Dug in to Kiwami 3 a bit yesterday. Digging it so far. The little extra scenes added so far are nice. The Haisai Girls stuff is fun. Rikiya's new look is already growing on me, which I thought I would hate it entirely. Looking forward to getting in to the Morning Glory side stuff next.

genAI is dying repost to make it die faster
Doesn't feel like Lost Records: Bloom & Rage came out a year ago but happy 1 year regardless to this great game! If you like narrative games, give this one a shot. It's lovely. Was one of my favorite games of last year.
