Dear sir, can I petition your design calendar so a kindness to my wallet? For it is wanting, yet I know I will want whatever you make. π€£

Hey @extralife4kids.bsky.social -- my son and I raised the $100 in April to earn the dice tower for tabletop day, but we never heard anything about it. The little guy worked so hard to earn it in time. Is there somebody I can talk to about the mistake?
A scoreboard for the game Evolution: The Beginning. The son scoring 110 points to his dad's 50.
In case anybody needed proof that my son is wired for logic and strategic thinking ... I taught him this game last night. This is the score of the game we just played.
You might as well just bank that escape room roguelike action like it's already done.
Come on, Suzanne -- you KNOW that's gonna go nuts. Folks still stirred up about Godzilla from those last movies, you've got gorgeous minis and big old monsters, and nerds of a certain age like myself are all about it being built off of the bones of Battle Masters.
I have never heard of anybody frying avocado -- but now I desperately want to find a place by me that does it.
Game night idea:
Each person orders a board game directly from a publisher. One they already have in stock now. When they arrive, you plan a series of game nights to get them all played.
No ONE person has to stretch their already stretched budget, while we still help publishers survive this mess.
Every time I see a small TTRPG publisher post a nervy "Here's what the tariffs mean for us" my heart just aches
It's the simple things in life that carry us through. π¦
Some folks take the unserious parts of this hobby WAY too seriously. Some of my most well loved games are held together by duct tape and prayers. Maybe it's just me.
I'm exhausted and grouchy, so don't expect my usual pontificating on life, faith, and humility. Today is just for random nonsense.
PUT LADY CLUCK IN LORCANA, YOU COWARDS!
Seeing as I had to convince my son that my copy of Quacks is perfectly fine and we didn't need to buy it again despite how cool the new ones look -- I think it's doing the job well.
Don't mind me. Just over here doing bard stuff.
Time to get back on the horse
In 2013 I held one of my first EVER large-scale game days. Innroads Ministries wasn't even a thing yet -- and this was the ENTIRETY of my gaming collection.
Oh how both have grown from this ...
Introducing our young gamer to the classic that is Clue. So naturally when choosing my character I went MUSTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARD.

I have three of these -- Reunification, This World Is Not Yours, and Our Innermost Thoughts. They are all fantastic. So if you don't have them, now is a great time to fix that.
So much of my wish list is made up of @coyoteandcrow.bsky.social titles - both board game and RPGs - so this definitely has my eye too.
I received my contributors copy today. I was able to write the forward and canβt recommend this book highly enough.
This shirt is amazing just as pictured -- but per @425suzanne.bsky.social I saw the back of the design (which you can see if you follow the link to buy this awesomeness), and it's epicness brought a tear to my eye.
With as many famous pirates as there are in history and legend -- well...
1) I see your bit there. Good bit.
2) Holy crap am I more curious about how Pandora works than any other character to date!
To say the least, I am VERY curious about this one for (gestures to all the storytelling, religion, and tabletop gaming accoutrements that is my life) ... reasons.
One of these days my game budget and your release schedule will line up!
The other day, my son and I were talking about my favorite board game, it's setting and characters. As a bit of trivia I mentioned that one of the pieces was based on a historical figure. Before I knew it, little man was asking me for information and pictures about it.
All hail WOJTEK!
When most of your gaming is in the context of ministry or with nongamers, there are whole genres that only come out when the moon is full on the dwarven new year.
Sometimes, though, you remembered one of your friends mentioned he'd love to try of your more complicated games after last game day.
Have you played The Librarian's Apprentice yet? It's fantastic.
