You know what I did today instead of what I was supposed to do?
I created most of the graphics and content for the Kickstarter page of #familyandhonour.
It's not all days that you procrastinate the procrastination so you end up doing the actual work... 🤣

Clean Room is underrated, and I say that as someone who only read the first Vol so far.
But of course her Uncanny run has returned to that classic vibe that made me fall in love with the characters.

Super happy since I rediscovered comics, and while I mostly read indies now (from creators I enjoy), when I do read Marvel and DC is also based on a creator I love, not the characters

There's been xxx 's that may not have "ruined" the character, but made it a lot less appealing ever since, and while there's a chance to revitalise it, no one else has yet...

I've been accused of using AI in the past when I didn't - well, one of my artist collaborators - so I know how fucked up it is to be on the receiving end of a false accusation like this.
But while my artist was able to show his full process, these guys did nothing yet to prove they didn't use AI
I posted on LinkedIn. Founder got in touch and even called me now saying the guy is a real person, too old to try AI, and not the most well spoken person, which fair enough, but too many red flags. He sounded distressed enough for me to want to believe him, but I don't know...
Honestly, I love this for them.

I mean, only lasted for 2 minutes, because when I asked it to turn camera on, it refused, with its very AI-like voice and speech patterns, so I told it to fuck off.

On other news, I'm kind of happy I'm okay now with not staying in uncomfortable situations that I know will lead nowhere and will just say "fuck it, I'm out".

I journaled a lot during that time. Problem is I wrote it from a fragile state, where my self-esteem had been completely shattered.
Reading it now is heartbreaking & fucked up. Like a different person wrote it.
So many excuses I made for ppl's shitty behaviour, when they were in fact just toxic.
